GENERAL ELECTION LIBERAL DEMOCRAT CANDIDATE JOINS LABOUR

Paul Penlington, the Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for the Vale of Clwyd in the 2010 General Election, has joined the Labour Party.

Upon this news Ann Jones, Assembly candidate for the Vale of Clwyd, said:

'Great to see that the Lib Dem candidate in the 2010 General Election has now chosen to join Labour. It took real guts and serves as a clear message to Clegg before his visit to Wales tomorrow.'
