Assembly Member Ann Jones Ann was first elected in 1999 and then again in 2003, and has recently been re-elected to serve the Vale of Clwyd in future years in the 2007 Welsh Assembly elections. A popular AM, Ann was the first Chair of the Assembly Labour Group. She worked previously as a Fire Control Officer. Ann is Chair of the powerful Local Government and Public Services Committee. Her political interests include education, tourism and community safety. Ann is also a member of the Christian Socialist Movement.
